This role is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified School Nurse (CSN) who is passionate about supporting the health and wellness of young students throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and health education
• Manage chronic conditions and acute illnesses in a school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to promote a safe and healthy learning atmosphere
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Serve as a resource for health-related issues and promote wellness initiatives within the school community
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification highly preferred
• Prior experience in a school nursing role, particularly in elementary education settings
• Strong assessment and clinical skills tailored to pediatric care
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team
