Senior Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Harriman, TN

**Overview:** Roane Medical Center is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Room. As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients and coordinate care planning with other disciplines. This is a full-time position with a 72-hour pay period, and shifts may vary. **Responsibilities:** • Correlates patient history and support systems across the continuum of care • Completes nursing history and initiates patient education • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to make recommendations for patient care • Implements plan of care appropriate to diagnosis and patient needs, evaluating outcomes • Resolves complex issues without oversight or supervision • Demonstrates active participation in unit or facility activities • Demonstrates competence in performing critical skills, including age-specific care • Leads process improvement initiatives to achieve department/facility goals and quality initiatives • Serves as Clinical Coach in orientation and continuing education of new employees and students • Serves as instructor for annual continuing education events • Supervises LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters • Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards • Completes required education assignments annually • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested • *Qualifications:** • Minimum Education: None specified, but must meet the standards for achievement of a valid Tennessee RN license and/or certification • Minimum Experience: Minimum of three (3) years professional experience • Licensure Requirement: Valid Tennessee RN license required; CPR certification required • *Benefits:** (
