Job Summary: The Research Nurse Coordinator oversees, supervises, coordinates and conducts research activities to support clinical research projects. The incumbent will apply advanced nursing skills to research subjects. Provides expertise and training in research methodology and design. The incumbent monitors the progress of the projects, assists in development and implementation of new procedures, coordinates data collection and analysis, and maintains records. Reports to the Research Manager (or equivalent) and Principal Investigator. Specifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing sciences or Master’s degree in nursing. Must have current licensure in the State of Rhode Island as a Registered Nurse. At least three to five years previous related experience with progressive responsibility in research. Proficiency in the English language and statistical applications.
