Registered Nurse (RN) – Skilled Nursing Facility

Location: Orange, NJ

A skilled nursing facility in Orange, NJ is seeking a dependable and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct resident care in a long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation setting. This role is ideal for an RN who understands skilled nursing workflows and can manage resident care in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
• Monitor resident condition and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Complete nursing documentation in compliance with facility policy and regulatory standards
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs as assigned
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary rounds
• Respond to resident needs, incidents, and clinical concerns appropriately
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards

Required Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
• 1–2+ years of RN experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong medication administration and clinical assessment skills
• Knowledge of SNF documentation and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
