What You’ll Do As the Staff Development Coordinator: • Design and deliver engaging training that equips our nursing staff to provide the highest quality of care. • Track and maintain education records, ensuring every staff member has the skills they need to succeed. • Be a trusted resource for staff — from onboarding to ongoing education. • Partner with leadership to identify training needs and create a year-round education plan. As the Infection Prevention Nurse: • Lead our infection control program and serve as the go-to expert for policies and procedures. • Monitor, track, and analyze infection trends in the facility. • Educate staff on best practices to keep residents, visitors, and colleagues safe. • Play a key role in QA/QI meetings and decision-making.
