Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and assess high-quality in-service educational programs following established standards and protocols.
• Oversee the preparation and selection of instructional materials and training aids to provide a dynamic and effective in-service program.
• Create and distribute a monthly in-service training calendar to facility staff promptly.
• Coordinate CPR training for all licensed nursing personnel to ensure compliance and safety.
• Integrate recommendations from the Continuous Quality Improvement team concerning the educational needs of the facility.

Qualifications:
• Current Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, with graduation from a Connecticut-approved RN program.
• Valid certification as a Nurse Aide.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
• Physical capability to lift and move a minimum of 40 pounds to a height of at least 3 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 4 feet.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster required.
