Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospital Detox | Acute Care | Med-Surg Location: Las Vegas Recovery Hospital Job Type: Full-Time | Hospital Setting Position Summary We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with hospital-based acute care, medical-surgical, and drug and alcohol detox experience. This role supports patients requiring medically supervised detoxification and inpatient acute medical care in a hospital environment. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in an acute care hospital setting • Support patients undergoing medical detox for substance use disorders • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring • Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per physician orders • Identify and respond to changes in patient condition • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams • Maintain accurate electronic health record (EHR) documentation • Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nevada or compact) • Hospital nursing experience required • Experience in drug and alcohol detox or substance use disorder treatment • Acute care and/or medical-surgical (Med-Surg) experience • Strong clinical judgment and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications • Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience • BLS required; ACLS preferred Schedule & Benefits • Competitive hospital pay rates • Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision) • PTO and paid holidays • Supportive hospital leadership and team environment Location Requirement • Must reside in the Las Vegas, NV metropolitan area Schedule: FT 3 -12 hour shifts day and overnight with an every other weekend rotation Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN Pay: $50.00 - $52.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
