Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care team in Augusta, GA. In this role, you will deliver safe, evidence‐based, patient‐centred care to patients in a general medical/surgical setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate results.
• Provide safe medication administration, treatments, monitoring and interventions according to patient needs and standards.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to coordinate patient care, transitions and discharge planning.
• Document all nursing care, assessments, teaching, interventions and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, procedures, discharge instructions and self-care.
• Participate in unit performance improvement, shared governance and professional development activities.
• Mentor and support new or less experienced staff, promote a culture of excellence, safety and teamwork.

Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia (or Compact License as applicable).
• Required certification: BLS; additional certifications may be preferred depending on the specific acute care unit.
• Preferred: Minimum 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience (medical/surgical, telemetry or other relevant unit).
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize care, and adapt to change.
