Position Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care in support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. The RN is responsible to provide supervision of unlicensed personnel who may also be providing care for clients assigned to the RN. The RN collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team, participates actively in continuous, unit based and hospital-wide performance improvement process within guidelines defined by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas standards of practice. Tenet corporate standards of conduct and NMC policies and procedures.
