Cook Children’s Health Care System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a nursing job in Prosper, Texas.

Standard Weekly Hours: 24
Summary: The Prosper RN will provide nursing care to a wide variety of patients within the facility. During each shift, the RN may be assigned to another unit based upon patient care needs and may be required to provide nursing care to patients within the nurses scope of RN practice. This RN will provide strong patient care skills, excellent customer service focusing on quality and safety while being an advocate for the patient and the organization. Shift: 7p - 7a Part-Time, 24 hours per week Orientation will be 2 weeks Monday - Friday (1st week will be at our Fort Worth Campus) followed by unit orientation. Option to go Full-Time at a later time.
Education/Experience/Licensure: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. 6 months of nursing experience required. 1 year critical care experience & Peds experience preferred. Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas. Current BLS.
