Job Summary of Staff RN (Registered Nurse) - DAY SHIFT AVAILABLE!:

Join a compassionate and dedicated team focused on delivering quality healthcare services to the Hudson Valley community. This position supports residents through professional nursing care, ongoing assessments, and direct collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Staff RN (Registered Nurse) - DAY SHIFT AVAILABLE!:
• Provide resident care using the nursing process, including administering medications and treatments.
• Report observations and assessments to the appropriate nursing leadership.
• Assist with test and lab collection, and interpret basic test results.
• Ensure resident care aligns with policies, procedures, and resident rights.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and concerns.
• Prepare and assign responsibilities to staff based on patient needs and personnel competencies.
• Monitor daily activities and confirm accurate documentation by CNAs.
• Maintain punctuality and communicate absences appropriately.

Qualifications and Experience of Staff RN (Registered Nurse) - DAY SHIFT AVAILABLE!:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed and registered as an RN in good standing in New York State.
• Experience with geriatric patients preferred, but not required.
• Compassionate and enthusiastic about serving the elderly and chronically ill.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, infection control, and patient care principles.
• Effective communication skills with residents, families, and team members.
• COVID-19 vaccination is encouraged but not mandatory; vaccinations are offered per CDC guidance.
