Stepdown Nurse (RN) - Denton, TX in Corinth, TX

Deliver specialized nursing care in a dynamic step-down unit located in Denton, TX. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for Registered Nurses experienced in step-down care to apply their skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment focused on patient recovery and transitional care from intensive care units.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and assess patients transitioning from critical care, ensuring stability and proper recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation on patient status and care provided.

Qualifications:
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
• Demonstrated experience working in a step-down or progressive care unit.
• Strong ability to interpret patient data and respond quickly to changes in condition.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
