A nursing position is available for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Stepdown care, offering an opportunity to contribute to quality patient outcomes within a supportive healthcare setting. This contracted role is based in Ewa Beach, HI, and involves working a rotation of 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts, including weekends, with flexibility to float to Medical/Surgical units on low census days. Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive nursing care in a Stepdown unit environment • Monitor patients' conditions closely and respond promptly to changes • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans • Assist with patient education and support families • Float to Med/Surg units on days with lower patient census, ensuring continuous care Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Active Hawaii RN license is required prior to contract start • Proven experience in Stepdown nursing or similar acute care settings • Flexibility to work consecutive weekends as needed • Ability to adapt skills for float assignments in Medical/Surgical units • Strong communication and critical thinking skills Schedule/Hours: • 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts per rotation • Weekend work required as mentioned Location Overview: Ewa Beach, HI, provides a scenic and welcoming environment along the southwestern coast of Oahu.
