Job Description
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Stepdown experience to provide exceptional care in a supportive night shift environment. This role involves 12-hour shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, offering stability alongside a dynamic clinical setting. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of unit nursing experience, preferably in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown setting
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care during night shifts in a PCU/Stepdown nursing unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation compliant with healthcare standards and regulations
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions as needed
