Provide skilled nursing care in a stepdown unit located in Hampden, ME, delivering quality patient-centered services under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader. This contract position calls for an experienced RN to support patients requiring intermediate care, fostering recovery in a compassionate, collaborative environment aligned with Catholic health ministry values. Key Responsibilities: • Administer clinical nursing functions as outlined by the Maine Board of Nursing and facility policies. • Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans. • Monitor telemetry and manage patient assessments using sound clinical judgment. • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff. • Support the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse by providing direct care and assisting with shift responsibilities. Required Qualifications: • Current Maine RN license. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire. • Telemetry experience preferred. • Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred. • Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking abilities. • MOAB or CPI certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
