A healthcare role is available for a Registered Nurse in a step-down clinical setting, offering the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. This contract position is based in Marietta, GA, and follows a night shift schedule (6:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.) with every other weekend and holiday rotations.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Active Registered Nurse license (single state or multi-state compact)
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and RN licensure
• Completion of an accredited nursing program, with clinical experience or direct patient care preferred
• Experience administering IV Heparin is essential
• Strong English communication skills and basic computer proficiency
• Ability to manage time effectively, think critically, and respond calmly during emergencies
• Collaborative interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnosis, and individualized care planning based on evidence-based practice
• Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive patient care tailored to individual needs
• Engage patients and their families in care processes, providing education and updates
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and document safe, quality care
• Participate in professional development and competency assessments, and serve as a mentor or preceptor as needed
• Support quality improvement, research participation, and adherence to safety standards and policies
• Assist in resource management and the development of care protocols to optimize patient outcomes
