Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery in a stepdown or critical care environment. • Monitor patient vital signs, assess clinical conditions, and respond to changes in patient status effectively. • Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders. • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. • Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, and complies with regulatory standards. • Provide patient and family education related to recovery and post-operative care. Qualifications/Desired Experience: • Active RN licensure with experience in stepdown or critical care nursing. • Minimum of one year of experience in CABG recovery documented on resume. • ACLS certification required. • Permanent residence located more than 50 miles from the facility. • Ability to work night shifts (approximately 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.).
