The role requires managing patients in a progressive stepdown environment with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1 : 3-4, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety. Experience with various monitoring and sedation techniques is essential. Qualifications / Desired Experience : Current RN licensure Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; ICU experience preferred Certifications : ACLS and BCLS required; CCRN preferred Demonstrated competence in : Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Care for ventilated patients Continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration (preferred) Ability to adapt to float assignments in ICU, CPU, and PCU units Location : Valdosta, GA offers a blend of small-town charm and city convenience.
