Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current RN licensure with proven Stepdown/IMC/PCU nursing experience • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in these specialized units • Successful completion of ACLS and BLS certifications • Ability to pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms • Float flexibility to Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units as needed (ratios 1:5 to 1:6) • Reliable, with ability to work every other weekend (schedule directed by unit needs) • No call-back responsibilities required Responsibilities: • Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care and Stepdown units • Accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately in critical situations • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes • Adapt to floating assignments to Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units as required • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards Schedule/Hours: • Night shift, 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM) Location Overview: Lexington Park, MD offers a welcoming community with a blend of suburban comfort and access to coastal amenities.
