Schedule: • 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 am - 7:30 pm) • Rotating day/night shifts to meet operational needs Key Responsibilities: • Deliver patient-centered care in the stepdown unit, closely monitoring patient status • Accurately recognize ECG rhythms and perform safe medication administration • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide quality progressive care • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and assessment requirements during orientation and ongoing employment Qualifications: • Minimum 18 months of recent permanent stepdown or progressive care experience (travel experience accepted) • Current permanent Ohio nursing license or a Compact State license held in hand • Valid American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications • Ability to work at least every other holiday • Passing scores on ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation Additional Details: • Hours worked submitted via Qualivis - Lotus system • Orientation includes necessary competencies testing • Contract opportunity with potential for further assignments in progressive care This contract position requires dedication to quality nursing in a dynamic stepdown care environment.
