This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse experienced in Stepdown or Critical Care, working the night shift at a well-equipped acute care unit. Key Responsibilities: • Manage complex patient care in a 26-bed Stepdown/CCU unit with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. • Perform advanced procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, balloon pump management, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and cardioversion. • Utilize critical care equipment and technologies, including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia therapy. • Maintain compliance with unit guidelines and protocols, ensuring high standards of care. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for effective patient management. • Document care accurately using Meditech EMR system. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current and valid RN license. • BLS and ACLS certification required; NIH certification is preferred. • Experience in critical care or stepdown nursing environments. • Strong organizational skills with an efficient and positive approach to patient care. • Ability to manage high-acuity patients and complex medication drips. • Experience working in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting.
