Job Description
A registered nurse with expertise in stepdown care is needed to provide clinical leadership and direct nursing operations in a healthcare setting. This contract position is based in Roseau, MN, and focuses on supporting person-centered care and regulatory compliance while coordinating nursing assessments and resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead clinical staff across neighborhoods in areas such as infection control, wound management, safety, and the RAI process.
• Implement and oversee clinical policies ensuring safe, sanitary, and effective nursing practices aligned with professional standards.
• Ensure compliance with documentation, medication administration, nursing care, safety, sanitation, and resident rights in accordance with facility and government regulations.
• Collaborate to maintain efficient use of resources and appropriate staffing patterns that align with organizational goals.
• Promote teamwork and communication among clinical staff, physicians, other healthcare professionals, and retail providers.
• Deliver dementia-sensitive care that supports individualized, person-centered approaches enhancing resident well-being.
Qualifications:
• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• NRP Certification.
• Completed Intermediate fetal monitoring course.
• ACLS and BLS Certification.
• Proven leadership skills in clinical nursing settings.
• Strong ability to foster collaborative problem solving and staff development.
