Stepdown Registered Nurse | Salem, New Hampshire in Lawrence, MA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a registered nurse skilled in cardiac stepdown care to provide specialized nursing services in a dynamic telemetry unit. This contract position is based in Salem, NH, and offers the chance to deliver expert care to patients recovering from advanced cardiac procedures including TAVR, ablations, and cardiac catheterizations.

Responsibilities:
• Manage patients post-TAVR, cardiac catheterizations, ablations, Watchman device implants, STEMI cases, pacemaker monitoring, and CardioMEMS device care
• Utilize telemetry monitoring for continuous cardiac assessment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including charge nurses, patient care technicians, and monitor techs
• Document patient care accurately using the Allscripts electronic health system
• Adhere to hospital-specific guidelines, protocols, and safety standards
• Participate in every other weekend scheduling and float to like units as needed

Qualifications and Experience:
• Valid RN licensure with current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in telemetry nursing with cardiac post-procedure care
• Advanced skills and knowledge of cardiac drips and complex cardiac interventions
• Ability to work within a patient ratio of 1:4 during days and nights
• Familiarity with use of modern cardiac equipment and monitoring technology
