An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with step-down experience to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. Responsibilities: • Employ the nursing process while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in line with nursing standards, policies, and state regulations • Maintain accurate and timely documentation following established standards of care • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including education for patients and their families • Participate in unit performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities • Provide clinical guidance across units to support patients’ longitudinal care plans • Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and a positive patient experience, escalating concerns as needed Qualifications & Desired Experience: • Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license • Valid CPR certification • Experience in step-down or skilled nursing areas preferred • Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills • Ability to adapt to rotating weekday and weekend schedules Schedule/Hours: • 0.9 FTE day shift, 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM with rotating weekday and weekend shifts Benefits and Perks: While this is a contract position, it offers valuable exposure to diverse patient care experiences and opportunities to grow clinical expertise.
