A healthcare facility in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with step-down or progressive care unit expertise for a 13-week contract assignment. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a Pulmonary Thoracic Progressive Care Unit (PCU) environment.

Responsibilities include closely monitoring patient conditions, administering medication, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans, and responding promptly to patient needs in a critical care setting. The schedule will vary between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM shifts.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience within a step-down or PCU specialty
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a pulmonary/thoracic care setting
• Ability to prioritize patient care effectively in a fast-paced environment
