An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Stepdown care to work night shifts on a contract basis. This role is ideal for nursing professionals with a minimum of two years of unit experience who are looking to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive healthcare environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit setting. • Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred. Schedule/Hours: • Night shifts. • 12-hour shifts. • Guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown unit. • Monitor patient condition and report changes to the healthcare team. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols. • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
