An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Stepdown experience to provide exceptional care in a night shift setting. This role involves working 12-hour shifts with guaranteed hours, supporting patients in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to ensure optimal recovery and monitoring. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring stepdown level monitoring. • Utilize clinical skills to assess, intervene, and evaluate patient conditions. • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status and treatments. • Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, including implementing BLS and ACLS protocols. • Apply NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments as part of neurological evaluations. Desired Qualifications: • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. • Minimum of 2 years experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit. • Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification. • Proficiency with NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills. • Ability to work independently during night shifts. Schedule: • Night shift, 12-hour shifts. • 36 hours guaranteed per week.
