Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the stepdown/telemetry units according to established policies and the Nurse Practice Act. • Utilize critical thinking and scientific judgment to anticipate and plan safe, effective patient care. • Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development. • Delegate and supervise patient care tasks, coordinating with multidisciplinary team members. • Float between stepdown and telemetry units as operational needs dictate. • Maintain accountability for patient safety and quality care throughout your shift. Desired Qualifications: • Active RN license with stepdown/telemetry experience of 2+ years. • Current ACLS and BLS certification. • Proven ability in managing complex patient conditions and demonstrating leadership on the floor. • Comfortable working night shifts from approximately 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. with every other weekend required. • Ability to comply with facility-specific submission requirements for travel assignments.
