Join a skilled team supporting patients through complex cardiac conditions with the use of telemetry monitoring and state-of-the-art technology. Key Responsibilities : Manage care for patients post-TAVR, pacemakers, ablations, and STEMI, providing cardiac drip administration and close telemetry monitoring. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including charge nurses, patient care technicians, and monitor techs. Utilize Allscripts for efficient patient documentation. Maintain adherence to unit-specific policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care. Participate in a scheduling system requiring every other weekend availability. Float to similar units as needed, enhancing flexibility and broadening clinical experience. Qualifications and Desired Experience : Active RN license with expertise in telemetry and cardiac stepdown nursing. Experience caring for patients with cardiac implantable devices (e.g., Watchman, pacemakers). Proficient in managing post-intervention cardiac patients including those after TAVR and cardiac catheterization. Required certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Familiarity with Allscripts electronic health records.
