Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice • Minimum 1 year of experience, first-timers accepted • Competency with acute rehab hospital nursing • Telemetry experience including on-unit and remote monitoring • Skilled in blood glucose monitoring and insulin protocols • Knowledge of Foley catheter removal and central line (PICC) care • Proficient in administering blood and blood products • Experience with pulse oximetry and fall risk assessment/prevention • Expertise in infection prevention and isolation precautions, including PPE use • Comfortable floating among departments as required within scope of practice Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care on night shifts (7 PM to 7:30 AM) • Manage patient assessments, medication administration, and monitoring • Utilize specialized lift equipment to assist patient mobility safely • Document clinical activities accurately using EPIC charting system • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes • Uphold rigorous infection control standards and patient safety protocols • Contribute to care delivery in a 30-bed acute medical-surgical rehab unit Location:Situated in the thriving city of Olathe, Kansas, practitioners can enjoy a balanced lifestyle enhanced by a vibrant community feel.
