Provide expert nursing care in a 26-bed Neuro Trauma Intermediate PCU specializing in critical step-down patients. This opportunity suits an RN with at least one year of ICU experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment managing complex cases such as neuro trauma, respiratory distress, alcohol withdrawal, and insulin drips. The role emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and utilization of advanced monitoring equipment, including Philips monitors, chest tubes, and airways. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver direct patient care through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care. • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional nursing standards. • Float on a rotational basis to critical care clusters or med/surg units as needed. • Use electronic medical records (EPIC) for documentation and communication. • Comply with infection control policies including flu vaccination or approved exemption. Qualifications: • Current RN license, eligible for Missouri licensure or licensed in Missouri. • Minimum 1 year ICU experience in an inpatient setting. • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. • Ability to effectively manage a 3:1 or 4:1 patient ratio. • Flexibility to work night shifts (1900-0700), 36 guaranteed hours weekly. • Team-oriented mindset with professional accountability.
