As the Elementary School Nurse, you will serve as a trusted health professional for students in grades K–5, providing comprehensive nursing services that support academic readiness and daily wellness. You will manage health-related accommodations for students with IEPs and 504 Plans, respond to medical needs throughout the school day, and partner closely with educators, administrators, and families to promote a safe and supportive learning environment.

About the Role:
- Promote a safe, healthy, and supportive school environment.
- Administer medications and manage student health conditions.
- Conduct or assist with health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.).
- Maintain accurate, compliant health records and documentation.
- Respond to student illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff.
- Provide direct nursing care and health support to students during the school day.
- Implement and monitor health plans, IEP health services, and 504 accommodations.
Requirements
- Possess a current Illinois State RN license.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Be prepared to start immediately, making a difference right away!
- This position requires on-site work; candidates must be willing to work on-site throughout the assignment.
