Substance Abuse Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Springfield, Holyoke & Greenfield Schedule: Full-Time / Part-Time / Per Diem (Flexible shifts available) We are hiring a Substance Abuse Registered Nurse (RN) to support individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders. The RN will be responsible for nursing assessments, medication administration (including MAT), withdrawal monitoring, documentation, and working collaboratively with the treatment team. Responsibilities: • Complete nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions • Administer medications and support withdrawal management protocols • Monitor vitals and use CIWA/COWS or similar assessment tools • Document patient care accurately and in compliance with regulations • Provide patient education and support relapse prevention strategies • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and support staff • Respond to crisis situations using trauma-informed and de-escalation skills Qualifications: • Active RN license in Massachusetts (required) • BLS/CPR certification (required) • Experience in behavioral health, detox, substance use treatment, or medical-surgical preferred • Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills What We Offer: • Competitive pay • Flexible scheduling options • Professional growth and training opportunities • Supportive work environment If you are passionate about helping individuals in recovery and looking for meaningful work, we encourage you to apply.
