ABOUT HARNEY DISTRICT HOSPITAL
Established in Burns, Oregon in 1920, we are the only critical access hospital that serves residents living in rural communities spread across the 10,000 square miles of beautiful Harney County. We also run a family care clinic and a specialty care clinic. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Thorough knowledge of professional nursing principles and practices and license limitations. Knowledge of mathematics to include basic algebra and geometry, and computer and keyboard operations. Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to write medical reports and procedures. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.
REQUIREMENTS/LICENSES: Possession of a current Registered Nurse license within the State of Oregon, or ability to acquire by the time of appointment. Possession of current BLS certification. All full time and part time staff must possess ACLS and PALS certification within one (1) year of appointment
PREFERRED: ACLS, PALS, TNCC and CNOR at time of appointment. Previous nursing experience including Perioperative, Circulating and Oncology infusion.
