Qualifications Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. Current BCLS certification required within one month of hire. Experience: The foundational job description for all RNs encourages advancement through the SPIRE clinical advancement program. Licensure: Active and current RN license in the State of Connecticut. Clinical specialty certification is highly encouraged. Special Skills: RNs are encouraged to participate in the SPIRE clinical advancement program. Physical Demand: This position requires prolonged standing, walking, and the use of sight, hearing, and touch. RNs may encounter infectious diseases and physical, mental, and emotional challenges while providing patient care, including assisting with lifting patients weighing from five (5) to three hundred (300) pounds.
