This opportunity is for a skilled Surgical Technician to support patient care and safety during surgical procedures in a well-equipped operating environment. Reporting to the Registered Nurse, this role requires technical expertise and collaborative communication to ensure efficient surgical operations and uphold the highest standards of asepsis and patient handling. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare the operating room promptly and efficiently alongside nursing staff for scheduled procedures. • Maintain aseptic techniques rigorously and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are disinfected, sterilized, and organized. • Assist surgeons by providing the correct instruments and supplies during surgery. • Coordinate closely with the RN Circulator to support patient care and procedure flow. • Handle surgical specimens and complete related documentation accurately. • Monitor surgical equipment functionality and arrange for maintenance and repairs as needed. • Provide support in the Endoscopic Lab, including preparation of rooms and equipment. • Safely transport patients to and from the OR and perform CPR when necessary. • Fulfill other assigned duties within the surgical department with professionalism and cooperation. Qualifications and Experience: • Proven experience as a Surgical Technician in an Operating Room setting. • Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
