An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in operating room procedures, specializing in Ophthalmology and DaVinci Robot-assisted general surgery. Responsibilities: • Provide perioperative nursing care specializing in Ophthalmology and minimally invasive robotic procedures. • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimize outcomes in the operating room. • Utilize Epic electronic medical records system for documentation and coordination of care. • Participate in on-call rotation within a 30-minute radius of the hospital, including weekends. • Adhere to hospital protocols for surgical preparation, instrumentation, and patient monitoring. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with Illinois license. • Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience, including at least one travel assignment. • Proficient experience in Ophthalmology and DaVinci robot-assisted general surgery. • Current BLS certification. • Competent in Epic electronic medical record system. • Ability to respond promptly for on-call duties within 30 minutes of the facility. Schedule: • Full-time, 40 hours per week. • Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (four days per week). • On-call rotation approximately 8-10 days per month, including weekends. This assignment offers a supportive team atmosphere and an efficient orientation process. Documentation including CBC, DS, and QuantiFERON Gold within 90 days is required prior to start.
