A Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience is needed to provide skilled perioperative care at a healthcare facility serving Great Bend, KS. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for an RN with a focus on orthopedics, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery to contribute to a progressive surgical team. Responsibilities: • Serve as an OR circulator, ensuring patient safety and sterile environment during surgeries • Collaborate with surgical teams in orthopedic, OB/GYN, and general procedures • May be required to float to procedural areas such as pain management and interventional radiology • Participate in on-call rotations, covering evenings and weekends as assigned • Maintain compliance with facility policies and standards, including attendance at virtual orientation sessions Qualifications: • Active Kansas RN license • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications • Minimum of 1 year OR circulator experience, preferably 2+ years; scrub experience not required • Familiarity with orthopedic, OB/Gyn (including C-section), and general surgery procedures • EPIC electronic health record experience is highly preferred • Ability to meet on-call and holiday rotation requirements • Must be nicotine-free as per facility regulations Location: Great Bend is a welcoming community situated in central Kansas, known for its friendly atmosphere and access to natural attractions.
