Surgical Unit RN - Morrisville, Vermont in Hyde Park, VT

A Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room nursing is needed in a Vermont healthcare setting. This contract position offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate different lifestyles and preferences, with opportunities for varied shift times.

Location:

Schedule/Hours:
• Option 1: Four 10-hour shifts, either 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Option 2: Five 8-hour shifts, with varied start times at 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:00 AM
• On-call rotation: One weeknight call per week and weekend call every fifth weekend

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
• Current RN license with Operating Room experience essential
• Demonstrated ability to manage surgical patient care with attention to safety and protocol
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with surgical teams and providers
• Commitment to maintaining a sterile environment and patient-centered care

Responsibilities:
• Provide skilled nursing care in operating room settings, preparing patients and assisting during surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia during surgeries as required
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver efficient and safe care
• Maintain surgical instruments and sterile environment ensuring compliance with safety standards
