Provide skilled nursing care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units. This contract position is based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment on night shifts. A floating assignment between Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department holding is part of the role, with block scheduling to support work-life balance. Key Qualifications and Experience: • Valid RN license in Indiana. • Current ACLS and BLS certifications. • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing. • Proficient in Cerner EMR system. • Ability to manage patient ratios up to 6:1 in a 26-bed unit. • Flexibility to float between units as needed. Schedule: • Night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. • No call requirements. • Block scheduling available. Responsibilities: • Deliver attentive nursing care to patients in med-surg and telemetry settings. • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team. • Adhere to safety and clinical protocols, maintaining high-quality patient care standards. • Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate charting and communication.
