A Registered Nurse with expertise in medical, surgical, and respiratory care is needed for a full-time day shift position in Mescalero, NM. Responsibilities include: • Delivering nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. • Managing diverse psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. • Administering medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring effectiveness and side effects. • Documenting patient history, symptoms, medications, and care activities accurately. • Educating patients, families, and caregivers, assessing learning needs, and identifying resources. • Demonstrating leadership aligned with professional nursing competencies and standards. Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. • Minimum of one year nursing experience in a related specialty desirable. • Current RN license valid in New Mexico or compact state. • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA approved) required. • Completion of organizational entry competencies and specialty validations as per orientation guidelines.
