Local candidates must be within 60 miles. First-time travelers are accepted. Skill in telemetry and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is required. Weekend coverage is every other weekend with six weekend shifts over six weeks per contract. Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. Scrubs are not provided. This facility requires that all employees have the flu vaccine. Description: We are seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse with experience in monitoring and managing patients with cardiac conditions. The candidate will be responsible for interpreting dysrhythmias and providing appropriate management. Duties include assessing patients, documenting care, and coordinating with interdisciplinary team members. Patients may present with diagnoses such as congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, atrial fibrillation, cardiac dysrhythmias, and more. The unit emphasizes patient-centered care and collaboration with various support services. The nurse will be involved in special procedures such as peritoneal dialysis and telemetry monitoring. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a patient load of approximately 27 patients daily in a setting with 34 beds. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to respond to rapid changes in patient conditions. Additional qualifications include two supervisor references.
