Your Role: • Conduct thorough assessments of patients during admission and each shift, promptly addressing any changes in condition. • Administer prescribed treatments and medications while documenting care accurately in medical records. • Provide compassionate and responsive care, anticipating patient needs and addressing requests effectively. • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, and aftercare, ensuring clear understanding. Qualifications: • Active RN license in Texas or a Compact state. • BCLS and ACLS certifications are required. • Educational background: Associate's Degree or BSN. • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in critical care. • Familiarity with dysrhythmia recognition and proficiency in EKG monitoring. Skills and Abilities: • Preferred experience in a medical nursing unit. • Strong communication skills for effective patient and team interactions. • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology. • Ability to assist with heavy lifting, supported by colleagues.
