Job Description
Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care in an acute care setting focused on geriatric and inpatient rehab patients. This contract position involves variable 12-hour shifts at a well-regarded healthcare facility serving an affluent community, emphasizing high-quality patient experience and concierge-level service. Qualifications & Desired Experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with Tele nursing experience preferred
• Prior experience caring for geriatric or swing bed inpatients
• Advanced wound care skills highly valued
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and CPI preferred
• Comfortable working with standard medical-surgical equipment and electronic documentation systems (Cerner)
• Ability to maintain professional dress code (navy or navy top with white bottoms)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to thrive in a culture of collaboration
Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to medically complex patients on a 24-bed acute care unit
• Administer treatments and assist with minor procedures as indicated
• Collaborate with nursing staff and ancillary teams to maintain high patient care standards
• Utilize Cerner for accurate charting and documentation
• Adapt to variable scheduling with three 12-hour shifts per week
