Job Description
A skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry care is sought for a contract position in Charleston, Mississippi. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a small, community hospital setting, providing high-quality patient care in a critical care environment. The position requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to handle occasional pediatric cases with confidence.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Tele setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing changes that require intervention.
• Utilize EPIC charting system proficiently for accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment in a small critical care facility.
• Work 3 days on, 2 days off schedule, including availability over holiday periods.
Qualifications:
• Active RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferred, particularly in critical care settings.
• Proficient with EPIC charting.
• Experience in handling telemetry patients; familiarity with pediatric patients is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a small hospital environment.
