Job Description
A nursing position is available specializing in Medical-Surgical Telemetry care. This role offers a contract opportunity based in Elyria, OH, with shifts designed to support high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Location

Schedule/Hours
• 3x12-hour shifts, primarily day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Rotating shifts may be required to meet operational needs, including night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Qualifications
• Minimum of 18 months recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• At least 18 months permanent experience in the specialty prior to assignments
• Must hold a permanent Ohio nursing license or hold a compact state license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (American Red Cross preferred)
• Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and pass SafeMedicate and ECG assessments during orientation
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday
• Experience with submitting hours via designated time-tracking software
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive patient care on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and effectively interpret ECG rhythms
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Participate in mandatory assessments to demonstrate competency in key areas
