A registered nurse with experience in telemetry and behavioral health is needed for a night shift role within a short-term acute care hospital setting. This contract position involves working 3 twelve-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing direct patient care in telemetry and behavioral health units. The role requires flexibility to float between units at two nearby hospital locations to meet facility needs. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to telemetry and behavioral health patients • Monitor patient conditions using telemetry equipment and respond to changes swiftly • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans • Float between assigned units and facilities to support staffing needs as required • Maintain accurate patient records using Epic electronic health records system • Adhere to hospital protocols and standards to ensure patient safety and quality of care Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license specific to the state • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in telemetry and/or behavioral health settings • BLS certification required • Comfort with floating between multiple units and facilities • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends on a rotating schedule • Previous experience charting with Epic preferred • First-time telemetry nurses welcomed Location Overview Fuquay Varina, NC: Situated in a vibrant region with a blend of suburban comfort and southern charm, Fuquay Varina offers easy access to a variety of dining, shopping, and outdoor recreation options.
