Position Highlights • Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including alternating weekends • Provide care in a 24-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit with patient ratios of 5:1 or 6:1 • Utilize advanced equipment such as Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, telemetry monitors, and posey alarms • Float to other departments, including nearby locations, offering a varied and engaging work experience Qualifications And Desired Experience • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license • Minimum of five years clinical experience, with strong telemetry skills • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and telemetry certification required • Proficiency with electronic medical records, preferably Epic documentation system • Demonstrated ability to promote patient and staff satisfaction and a team-oriented mindset Responsibilities • Deliver nursing care adhering to established protocols and patient safety standards • Monitor telemetry and medical conditions, identifying and responding to any changes promptly • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with facility policies • Adapt to floating assignments as needed to support patient care across units This role offers the opportunity to refine your telemetry nursing skills in an environment that encourages professional growth.
