
Telemetry Registered Nurse - Hickory, North Carolina in Brookford, NC
Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Provide quality nursing care on a 24-bed telemetry floor with a typical patient ratio of 4:1.
• Utilize specialized equipment including Life Paks, Zoll monitors, Masimo devices, and Cerner electronic health records.
• Deliver care for cardiac conditions and assist with procedures such as cardiac caths (groin and radial access) and VATS.
• Occasionally float to Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), Progressive Care Unit (NPCU), and Surgical areas as needed.
• Collaborate effectively within a family-oriented team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
• Active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in telemetry or cardiac care.
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Proficient in using Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo monitoring equipment.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred.
• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Able to work both day and evening shifts with every other weekend coverage.
Additional Details
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours.
• Scrub attire of any color allowed.
