Provide expert nursing care in a dynamic acute care setting serving an affluent community. This contract position offers an opportunity to support swing bed patients with a focus on geriatric and inpatient rehab care. The unit is equipped with standard medical-surgical technology and utilizes the Cerner documentation system, ensuring a streamlined workflow. Responsibilities : • Deliver compassionate care to a patient population with a 6 to 7 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio • Perform advanced nursing skills, including wound care and minor procedures • Collaborate effectively within a skilled team committed to high-quality, concierge-level patient experience • Adhere to unit policies, including dress code of navy or navy top with white bottoms • Comply with required certifications such as BLS, with ACLS and CPI preferred Qualifications : • Current RN license with solid experience in geriatric or inpatient rehab nursing, particularly swing bed patients • Proficient in wound care and minor procedural skills performed on the unit • Comfortable working variable shifts consisting of three 12-hour rotations • Ability to function well in a setting with limited HUC or tech support • Commitment to excellent teamwork and patient-centered care within a high-expectation environment Location : Highlands, NC, offers a picturesque mountain setting renowned for its natural beauty and welcoming community.
